The Mosque lies near the edge of the City of London and a couple of miles from London Docklands.
"One of the great benefits to us was that Jablite has the ability to mould the insulation to the required thickness to achieve the U-value. That meant we only had one board to install rather than having to put down, and stick, several layers to achieve the same thermal performance,"

A nine-storey addition, the Maryam Centre, opened in 2012. The centre, named after the mother of Jesus, has facilities aimed solely at women, including fitness gyms, clinics and counselling rooms.
To insulate the roof of this iconic building, Jablite Flat Roof Tapered insulation was chosen.
The roof insulation was designed to achieve specified U-values and to meet Building Regulations.
In addition, the Jablite-designed cut-to-fall enabled drainage and the avoidance of water pooling on the roof which included some paved areas for use by residents:
“One of the great benefits to us was that Jablite has the ability to mould the insulation to the required thickness to achieve the U-value.
“That meant we only had one board to install rather than having to put down, and stick, several layers to achieve the same thermal performance,” says Jon Hammersley, Hambro Roofing.
“Jablite insulation was lightweight and easy to install. We did not need specialist PPE or equipment.
“There is no waste with Jablite insulation as it’s 100% recyclable and Jablite collected our offcuts from the site and recycled them.”
